Science Education

 

Yanti earned a Master’s  Degree from Boston University focusing on Science Education in 2008. Her education has equipped and enriched her with many new teaching methodologies that are useful for her current position.  She is now working as a Biology teacher and Science Head of Department at Bina Bangsa School Secondary Kebun Jeruk , West Jakarta.  She teaches year 11 and 12. By the end of their study, her students will sit for Cambridge Examinations from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

She believes with her acquired skills, she would be able to contribute, at least in the school where she works, for the future of Indonesia and to become a better teacher. In overall, the one year experience at Boston University has tremendous effect for both her professional development, as a teacher, and as an individual.
