Policy, Planning, and Administration

Upon earning his Master’s degree in Policy, Planning, and Administration, Hari directly pursued a doctoral degree in Human Resource Education at Boston University. He is currently working towards finishing his dissertation.

After earning his PhD, he plans to go back to teach at University of Surabaya (Ubaya), where he will pass on most of what he learned at BU to his students at Ubaya. In addition, he is also planning to establish an organization called Pluribus Indonesia, which mission is  to educate the people of Indonesia on the dangers of stereotypes and discrimination, and on the need to have relations between ethno-religion groups marked with civility and respect. This organization will consist of three educational and training initiatives. First, offering free diversity training programs to Indonesian companies. Companies are a major institution in which people spend majority of their life. Achieving diversity in companies would contribute to making Indonesia more plural and diverse as a nation. Second, organizing free workshops directed at college freshmen in universities on the topics of discrimination, prejudice, and critical thinking. Third, writing books, articles and other publications on the topics of diversity, prejudice, stereotypes, and critical thinking, and publish them on any mass media.
