Avia co-founded Beneran Indonesia, a non profit organization that teaches civic education through gamification and experiential learning.

 

She was previously involved in managing English Education Program in low-cost housings in Jakarta and was recruited by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) to be involved in reviewing and revising the Indonesian National Curriculum (Kurikulum 2013).

 

She is involved in various volunteer activities, such as developing and managing website for the The Kelly Elizabeth Stephens Memorial Scholarship. However, her number one priority is homeschooling her son and making sure that he will grow into a responsible, productive and contributing member of society.
