Teaching English as a Second Language

Abukh, along with his wife and three children, is currently residing in Australia to pursue a Doctorate in Language and Culture.  In addition, he also holds a position as a teaching staff at the Indonesia University of Education and a volunteer teacher at a senior high school in Bandung, West Java.

​

According to Abukh, the knowledge on theories and best practices in developmental studies on English language and literacy he gained from Boston University School of Education is really beneficial. At his current work, this knowledge helps him develop courses on language development such as children and young adult literature and other English language skills such as reading and writing.
